Notes
A 'moment' in the context of this project is a significant, surprising musical interaction that brings us to life.
A moment may also be:
1. a brief theme, mood, seed or element that captures a molecular musical statement, generally fitting into about a 45 to 75 second 'minute'.
2. an excerpt or section of a song, composition or theme that transmits the essence of a vital collaboration, harmony, sketch or inspiration.
3. an intentionally improvised collaboration designed specifically to last for ~60 seconds and designed to challenge us to listen, lean in and "write" together in real time.
Some of these moments last well beyond a minute. Where flow was underway, we decided to let the Moment stretch into as many minutes as the music needed.
These 'moments' are designed to be available in 'shuffle' mode and on music services and in music collections to offer a sort of familiar 'palate cleanser' showing up occasionally between longer, traditional songs to clear the air, clean the slate and remind us of the power and significance of collaboration.
